Shrinkable film label manufacturing process

1. The printing  

Prints on the selected film.  At present, shrinkage film sleeve printing mainly adopts gravure printing, solvent - based ink.

2. Slitting

High performance slitting machine is used for longitudinal slitting of printing roll film material, and the film edge is processed to make it flat, smooth and non-crimping.  When using the slitter machine, care should be taken to avoid the blade heating, because the blade heating will cause the film wrinkling.  

3. The stitching  

Sew the cut film in the center with a seaming machine and glue the nozzle to form the film cover required for packaging.  The amount of material required for suturing depends on the precision of suturing and the skill of the operator.  

4. Cutting

The film sleeve is packed on the outside of the product and cut horizontally with a slitter according to the size of the package.  At proper heating temperature, the length and width of the film shrink sharply (15% ~ 60%). 

5. Thermal contraction  

Use hot passage, hot furnace or hot air spray gun heating.  In this case, the shrink label rapidly shrinks along the outline of the container and is closely aligned with the outline of the container to form a protective label layer consistent with the shape of the container.  

In the production process of shrink film sleeve label, each process must be strictly tested by special testing machine to ensure the accuracy of production.
